Heineken Green Room Presents: Pusha T & Cyhi The Prynce

by Stevi Loren
Heineken Green Room brings two great G.O.O.D. music artist to Philly.
aIMG_7217_1323Philadelphia was the second city for Heineken's 9 city live music tour and is, in this writer's humble opinion, by far the best, bringing two great G.O.O.D. music artists to the TLA. The dark and intimate venue gave everyone an up close and personal experience with the performers. Tahiry, video vixen/model, hosted the event and made sure to keep it brief kicking the show off with Cyhi The Prynce. Cyhi hyped the crowd with"When the Smoke Clears" letting everyone know that he was here to stay in the music industry. Cyhi performed various songs off his "Royal Flush 2" mixtape including "Bullet Proof, So Emotional, and Woopty Doo".  Rolling back, Cyhi even performed his verse from Kanye West "So Appalled" featured on  "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" album, the record that gave him buzz and had everyone asking "who is this guy?".  A question that he's hoping won't be asked again after this performance.

The infamous cymbal and whistle thundered and the crowd went crazy as Pusha emerged from the stage performing "Blow". Pusha T's live band was on point. I've been to a few live shows in my life and this was the first time I've seen a male artist with more male groupies than female!

Pusha made the crowd feel every word, story, and incident as if they were a hustler sometime in their lifetime. Expressing his love for Philly, Pusha brought out one of the members from his Re-Up Gang, Philly native Ab-Liva. The crowd hung onto every word of Pusha's songs while rapping them right back at him without skipping any words.

If you missed the show and need a Pusha fix, his"Fear of God Part 2: Let Us Pray EP" is coming soon and "Long Live the King" mixtape will be out on Black Friday.
